Dr. Hanumanth S. is a highly accomplished Specialist Orthodontist with over 12 years of combined clinical and academic experience. Renowned for his patient-centered approach, he integrates advanced digital technology with evidence-based treatment protocols to provide precise, predictable, and aesthetically pleasing orthodontic outcomes.
His areas of expertise encompass comprehensive orthodontic care for children, adolescents, and adults. He is highly proficient in clear aligner therapy, utilizing digital smile design and advanced treatment planning to deliver seamless, customized orthodontic solutions. He also specializes in modern self-ligating and MBT bracket systems, growth-modification therapies using functional appliances for developing children, and the management of complex orthodontic cases requiring orthognathic surgery. His expertise further extends to implant-supported orthodontics, cleft lip and palate rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary treatment involving collaboration with specialists across various dental disciplines.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hanumanth is a distinguished academician and Professor in the Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem. He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentoring research scholars, supervising complex clinical cases, and fostering evidence-based learning. Previously, he served as Senior Lecturer and Reader at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry, for nearly a decade.
Dr. Hanumanth has authored more than 25 scientific publications in reputed national and international journals and holds a published patent for the HAN's Periodontal Splint/Lingual Retainer Holder. He has been invited as a Guest Speaker and Chairperson at prestigious national dental conferences and Indian Dental Association programs, and serves as a reviewer for several internationally recognized orthodontic and dental journals. His work was recognized with the "Excellence in Orthodontics" Award at the Indian Health Professional Awards, 2023.
He completed his MDS in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics from A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore (2013), following his BDS from Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry (2007). He is a licensed Specialist Orthodontist with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), a Life Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society, and a Certified Provider of Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and AED by the American Heart Association.

Dr. P. Lakshmi Prasanna is a dedicated Orthodontist and Dentofacial Orthopedician committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based orthodontic care with a patient-centric approach. She completed her MDS from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Puducherry.
Alongside her academic role, she practices as a Consultant Orthodontist across multiple private dental clinics. With expertise spanning conventional braces, clear aligners, lingual orthodontics, TAD-assisted orthodontics, growth modification, adult orthodontics, cleft lip and palate management, and orthognathic surgery, Dr. Prasanna is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles through personalized treatment plans and the latest orthodontic techniques. She is also experienced in in-house clear aligner treatment planning using advanced digital software.
An accomplished academic and clinician, Dr. Prasanna has earned numerous state and national academic distinctions, including All India Rank 24 in the NEET MDS Entrance Examination and multiple Best Paper Awards at prestigious international dental conferences.
